In November 2001, Alan Ford and Dave Clark joined forces to establish Cordite, a company encompassing their combined experience, expertise and achievements in the building construction industry.

The company has completed a wide variety of projects encompassing commercial, residential and mixed use developments - offices, retail and warehouse units, also civil works projects including drainage, carparks, piling, excavation, retaining walls and other earthworks and infrastructure.

We also have our fleet of plant and machinery for hire with experienced operators available if required.

In addition we undertake maintenance works, recladding, renovations and alterations and will assist in resolving leaky building issues.

Some of our completed projects include prestigious retirement village developments, medical centre construction and fit-outs, commercial interiors, inner city Auckland apartments and retail / commercial complexes, as well as high end substantial residential dwellings.

We work with clients on a range of contract types including fixed price, GMP, novated, charge-up open book and are willing to consider all options to make your project happen. We have long established relationships with a number of quality architects and engineers and other consultants if a client is looking for recommendations.

We will engage client recommended sub-contractors or otherwise we have an extensive list of experienced and reliable contractors who will provide quotes for all related trades.

We offer expert advice and employ qualified quantity surveyors / project managers who will run your entire project as required.
